Understand. Heal. Grow. We Can Do This Together

Welcome!

Therapy is hard; you sit with a stranger and share your deepest darkest secrets hoping and praying that they do not judge you. You allow yourself to be vulnerable for maybe the first time in your life - to be honest with yourself about the hurt, the pain, or your daily struggles. No part of therapy is easy, it is hard work.

Work that allows you to calm the racing thoughts, push yourself to get out of bed on the hard days, not lose your temper so easily, realize that 'normal' is just a setting on a dryer, heal the past hurt and trauma, take care of yourself without feeling guilty and to live the healthy life that you're dreamed of and been wanting.

There is no such thing as normal; normal is just a setting on a dryer

My approach is straight forward, no sugar coating. I believe in being transparent in order to create trust and a working dynamic that allows you to achieve your goals.

I utilize a variety of therapeutic orientations including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Strengths Based, Trauma Focused-CBT, Solution Focused, Person Centered and Mindfulness to help individuals achieve their desired outcome.

About Kristyn Georget

I began my journey to becoming a Registered Psychologist in Alberta in Manitoba where I completed my honours undergraduate degree in Psychology. I then pushed and challenged myself to move to Grand Forks North Dakota to attend the University of North Dakota to get my Master's degree in Counselling Psychology. I worked in Crookston Minnesota with adults struggling with severe and persistent mental illness.

I then returned to Canada and moved to Kindersley Saskatchewan where I worked with children, adolescents, adults and couples. My work varied from stress, marriage issues, parental neglect, crisis management, trauma, developing seniors programs - you name it!
